Question by Scimitar: Would an old nurse be able to have a prescription of Premarin injection in her own home?
I read that premarin injection can only be administered to the genereal public by a health care professional. What if the recipient is a health care proffesional? And a very experienced one at that?

Answer by Shar
Are you asking if a nurse could give herself her own prescription?
If so, yes but it has to be under the supervision of a physician. In other words, she would have to have a prescription to obtain the injectible.
If you are asking if a nurse could give you a injection of premarin for any reason……why? Why would you want someone giving you something you are not prescribed?

The dr’s gave me premarin to take for one week to get my cycle on track, since i was having break through bleeding every week. It made me back to normal. I had super tender breasts but not bleeding, but the dr’s know what they are talking about, you’re just fine. It is a hormone, so I don’t see why you shouldn’t be bleeding

If anyone takes Premarin for recreation they aren’t wrapped too tight; it has terrible side effects one of which is an increased risk of cancer and it is made from the urine of pregnant mares, hence the name. Pregnant mare urine.
