Drugs.com is the best I’ve come across. It can identify pills just by the imprint code, and shows pictures too!

Question by kim45237: has anyone ever taken the Rx drugs for sleeping: Lunesta, Ambien, Rozerm and whatever others are out there.?
Did they work, did you become dependent, was your sleep steady through the night, any other side effects???

I took Ambien. For me it did not work well. It either kept me up or gave me nightmares. But everyone reacts differently.

thanks for looking. i have been on lexapro for anxiety in the past but don’t really want to go back on it right now since i don’t have the anxiety all the time as i used to. however, i still have panic attacks occasionally. i’m wondering if there are any drugs that can be taken at the time of a panic attack to prevent them. so, just taking it when it is needed instead of everyday.

i’ve looked quite a bit but haven’t found anything like this. any help would be much appreciated!!

Is there really any danger to selling most dog medications over the counter or is this just a way for veterinarians to get more business?

If you give your dog heart worm pills and he/she is positive (meaning they have heartworm) then the pills will KILL the dog. You have to go to the vet because they give the dog a heartworm test first. If the dog is negative you can get the pills from the vet or online, if the dog is positive it will need to go through treatment. Most vets will match online prices. So after you get the test done tell them you want them to match the price of 1800 pet meds or something like that. If they can’t, get a prescription and order them online.

The Durham-Humphrey Amendment defined the difference between OTC and Rx drugs in 1951 and allowed the FDA to label some drugs as only despencable by Rx. I’m looking for the original three types of drugs requiring an Rx as defined by the amendment.
