Question by msz5128: i’m on my 2nd coarse of accutane. using generic brand called Claravis 40 mg….?
but i seem to be more prone to anger when i’m on this medication. i snap easily, can throw tantrums and have a bad temper. i’m not usually like this. is this a side effect? is it normal?
don’t get me wrong. accutane worked MIRACLES on me when i went on my first coarse last year in the month of March. it’s true when they call it the “miracle drug.” i saw results in two months. i had beautiful flawless looking skin. even more beautiful than my friends who didn’t suffer from acne! everyone had noticed the change in my appearance and confidence. up until a few months ago i noticed a few pimples starting to come out here and there as well as some redness. i was disappointed and decided to get back on it asap before it becomes worse.

First things first: you meant to say “course”, not “coarse”. Look it up.
Secondly, if you feel that the accutane is causing your unreliable behavior, you must tell this to your doctor. There’s no question about letting this go on. If a medication can actually make you a different person (for the worse) then there is absolutely no reason to keep taking it. If you’re concerned about the acne, find another way to fight it. It’s not worth losing your personality.
