Blood Pressure Medicine not Working?
I am a 28 year old female that is currently taking Pristia 100 mg, Lasix 40 mg and Klor-con M 20 and Augmentin 875 (temporary for ear infection). I was just taken off Norvasc 5 mg. My blood pressure is still too high 148/98. I take the Lasix and Klor-Kon in the morning and then the Augmentin a half hour after the Lasix and Klor Con. I take the Pristiq in the evening along with another dose of Augmentin. I can’t figure out why these medicines are not working to lower my blood pressure and the Norvasc didn’t work either. What could be wrong>????

What alternative medicine, no side effects, will help me stop urinating all the time and straining my bladder?
I am 25/m and have had this problem for close to six months now and I have been going to see the doctor and urologist since then. They just gave me antibiotic after antibiotic but nothing helped and said they couldn’t find anything. They did urine tests, semen analysis, cythiscope, and gave me medicines. They gave me leviquin, cipro, bactrum, detrol, ditropan, and many many more but nothing helped. Now I have to strain on my bladder just to urinate, have to urinate about 20-30 times a day and get up at night. No blood in urine but burning sensation. I drink only water and stay away from caffeine but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. My urologist said that I might have intestinal cystitis but he didn’t know for sure so he got me on Elmiron. I’m not taking this medicine because of it’s known side effects and he doesn’t even know what I have. Urologist said it sounds like prostatitis but now it’s something else. He said it’s not a bacteria because antibiotics would have killed it.

What is the medicine Buscopan and what is made up of?
For a while now I’ve been having severe pain in the area of my stomach and around my belly button,The doctor told me it was aU.T.I. and prescribed the above along with ibuprofen and an antibiotic cipro something .However i still have the worst tummy aches especially after a meal.So what is Buscopan and why is it not working?

Is it safe to mix Tamiflu with a cough medicine?
My 3 yr. old has been taking Tamiflu for 3 days and last night she started coughing really bad. She is coughing so hard that she is throwing up.
I am not totally sure and neither was her doctor, that she even has the flu, but because I am 39 weeks pregnant she started her on it to be safe for us both.

Is it okay to take stomach medicine (like Prevacid) the night before endoscopy?
I take Prevacid for acid reflux at night, and I am having an endoscopy tomorrow. The written instructions say not to eat eight hours before the procedure, and it says it’s okay to take heart medicine. But there is nothing written whether it is okay to take stomach medicine more than eight hours before the procedure. (It would be about eleven hours before the procedure now) I started searching online, and one site says you should not take any antacids the day of the test because it could interfere with the reading – but I don’t know if I can take it the night before. Since I won’t be allowed to drink water in a few hours, I won’t be able to do anything for the heartburn then, so I wanted to take the medicine now, but not if it will interfere with my test later on. I got conflicting advice from my family, so I’m not sure what to do.

i have an uti and taking medicine but i still furinate many times at night. what could be the problem?
I still have the burning and the urgency to go to the bathroom, even though i ma taking bactrim for the uti. could there be soemthing else wrong?
I have been taking the bactrim for three days now. but i am still having some of the saem symptoms. at least i am not sick anymore like i was before i went to the er. i am getting up at night like every two hours and then it still burns after i go. they also gave me pyridum for the burning . but i am still having problems. i will wait a few more days and see what happens. i am also on a water pill and it make sme go from when i take it around 7 in the morning until afternoon. then after that i barely go to the bathroom. it waits until i go to bed and then off to the bathroom i go!
