Viagra and Cialis Alternatives. Anyone use them? Do they work?

Category: CialisPrescription Search @ 3:06 am

I see the ads every single day and wonder if anyone has used these products and if they work or not. Enzyte, Extenze, Vaxitrol, Rize To The Occasion, the list goes on and on. I would like to get feed back from people who have actually used the item, or a sexual enhancer to see what they say. They look like they could be a lot of fun.

Category: DealsPrescription Search @ 1:54 am

One surefire way of getting sunglasses instant notice would be to get Hollywood stars and celebrities to wear them. There’s no denying that celebrity patronage would surely get sunglasses retailers’ cash registers ringing non-stop. In a culture where almost everyone wants to emulate famous celebrities, there is no mystery to this phenomenon.

Let’s take a look at some sunglass brands and models made popular by the familiar face wearing them.

Designer label Police have a lot to be thankful for in soccer idol David Beckham, who was seen sporting them in several occasions. Though Angelina Jolie have been seen wearing different types of sunglasses in varied instances, she is more recognized in her aviator sunglasses. And when Britney Spears goes shopping, she always don a pair of oversized sunglasses, which although doesn’t encourage any anonymity, do much to enhance her glamorous image. Socialites Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie also love oversized sunglasses, with the former having a hand in promoting white framed pairs, while the latter preferring the Wayfarer brand.

And who could forget the movies that set off trends in sunglasses, particularly Top Gun and The Matrix trilogy? These films not just promoted the mere use of sunglasses, it made wearing them a personal fashion statement.

For a typical individual, it would take a considerable amount of savings and earnings to purchase just a pair of designer celebrity sunglasses. Doesanyone have laryngopharyngeal reflux? what were your symptoms and long did they take to go away?

Category: PrevacidPrescription Search @ 1:01 am

I feel like I have food stuck in my throat when I eat solids. It started out with a potato chip. My ENT says I have GERD with Laryngopharyngeal Reflux. I’ve been on Prevacid twice a day and Pepcid Complete with very little relief. I have been on mashed potatoes and pudding and just liquids for 2 weeks. The nurse says I CAN eat solids with no problem that it’s just that I’ve built up fear to eat. Yeah I do have fear to eat; however I am also eager to eat! I’d rather eat mashed potatoes than to feel like I have something stuck in my throat. It feels like it’s stuck on the left side of my throat. The ENT looked down my throat with a mirror and said my esophagus and vocal cords were very irritated-2wks ago. If anyone has had this problem please help.

Celebrity Sunglasses – What Were They Wearing? – This Amazing Site Answers the Question

Category: DealsPrescription Search @ 7:53 am

I just stumbled across an amazing new site that is really a blast to use. It’s a gold mine if you are trying to figure out what sunglasses your favorite celebrity was wearing.

This guy has built a library dedicated only to celebrity sunglasses and it shows lots of recent pictures (and even video clips) of celebrities wearing sunglasses on reality TV shows like The Hills, Pageant Place, The Kardashians, etc. Plus he has celebs in sunglasses from movies, magazines and videos and red-carpet events, award ceremonies and various celebrity fan pages. And he seems to be a wrestling fan as there are several video clips of him meeting and talking with pro-wrestlers (in sunglasses of course).

The coolest part is the editorial comments and the ratings system where ‘LookHooky’, as he calls himself, who claims to have been in the sunglasses business for many years, can tell exactly what any celebrity was wearing no matter how obscure the brand or model they had on. Amazing!

When you go to the home page he has loads of pictures of celebs with commentary and you can click on the celeb’s picture and it takes you to a dedicated celeb page that has all of their pictures with links to larger images of the glasses so you can really see the details for each pair. Also shown is the exact brand and model and an approximate cost for the shades.

Not only that, he has a nifty rating system and provides his opinion on every pair of glasses shown along with comments that explain why LookHooky likes or doesn’t like these glasses. His comments are usually right on and, although occasionally a little thin, can be pretty humorous as he praises and slams the celebs and even the manufacturers, giving advice to those who might be considering buying a brand or style as to why it is better for certain face sizes and types, etc. Neat.

There are also several ‘master’ lists; one for celeb pages, one for TV shows, movies, videos and a great section on magazines where you can go to see what celebs were wearing what glasses in what issue of about 5 or 6 publications that he seems to be following regularly. Does this guy ever sleep?

The feature I like best about this site is that after you watch a TV show or video, or have scanned the pages of an entertainment mag, you can go there and use their site search engine to find all the entries for that celebrity and you can jump right to those pages and drill down to enlarged images, comments and ratings and prices. And as he seems to be watching everything, there’s a good chance he’ll have the celeb and their sunglasses aleady posted.

So, if you love sunglasses like I do, and want to know what your favorite celebrity was wearing, just hope over to this site, appropriately named Celebrity-Sunglasses-Finder.com.

And if you don’t find just what you’re looking for they have a ‘contact us’ page where you can submit requests for celebs and sunglasses that they haven’t already nailed down.

Good job LookHooky!

Category: PrevacidPrescription Search @ 6:02 am

I have really bad heartburn/sour stomach sometimes, and by mistake I took prevacid and maalox together. It did the trick.

But why do they advice us against using more than one at a time?

Canadian Drugs are Cheap, But are they Legal?

Category: CialisPrescription Search @ 5:09 am

Americans have begun buying their prescription drugs online from internet pharmacies based in Canada. If you’ve ever looked at some of these Canadian drug websites, you may have noticed that many of the drugs are 80% cheaper in Canada then they are in the United States, which begs several questions.

Firstly, Canadians pay fantastically less for the same medicines than Americans because the Canadian government stipulates a price ceiling at which they allow drug manufacturers to sell to Canadian drug distributors, and the government also controls the prices at which Canadian distributors can then sell those drugs to the public. So, the pharmaceutical industry is tightly regulated and price controlled by the Canadian government, resulting in very cheap, very affordable prescription drugs.

This socialized system for prescription drugs is not anywhere to be found in the United States. In the U.S., drug companies are allowed to sell medicines to the public at whatever prices the market can bear. Isn’t that nice? We live in a country so free that our drug companies can charge us $350 for 20 tablets of Viagra or Cialis, whereas in Canada you can get it for $90.

As a result of these enormous price discrepancies, internet pharmaceutical suppliers in Canada have launched extensive marketing campaigns targeted at the U.S. to capitalize on the American demand for affordable prescriptions. Visit any search engine and type in the words “Canada drugs” or simply type in the name of any prescription drug you can think of, and you’ll find a ton of Canadian-themed sponsored links for online pharmacies based in Canada selling drugs that are so cheap it makes your eyes pop.

But is this legal? According to the FDA, the importation or re-importation of drugs into this country from a foreign source is against the law. Simply put, it is technically illegal to buy drugs from Canada that were either manufactured in Canada or manufactured in the United States and then sold to Canadian distributors. Is this dumb? Absolutely. The FDA says that they can’t guarantee the “quality” of the drugs from Canada, that these drugs might be dangerous, that they might have been poorly manufactured or improperly formulated, or manufactured in facilities in Southeast Asia.

So, the FDA is dismissing the idea of allowing Americans to legally purchase drugs from Canada because the products might have been made in a bathtub in Cambodia, because I suppose Canadians are too dumb to make this stuff on their own. This is an absurd excuse on the part of the FDA. The FDA could regulate the Canadian pharmaceutical trade, and investigate as to which Canadian pharmacies, online or offline, are making the drugs themselves and/or buying the drugs directly from American drug manufacturers, as opposed to those that are making them in foreign countries. Most of the drugs sold by Canadian internet pharmacies are drugs that were made in the USA, and have simply been sold to Canadian distributors. Some of these drugs are manufactured by Canadian manufacturers. But rather than publish a buyers guide for Americans and allowing us to buy our drugs from “certified Canadian pharmacies”, they make the whole practice illegal to increase the profitability of the American drug industry.

Yes, it is true that there are some rogue companies on the internet masquerading as Canadian pharmacies that are actually Mexican pharmacies that don’t even have a doctor and pharmacist review your medical history before sending you the medicine. But the FDA could easily set up a legal Canadian-American drug trade where the FDA makes it legal for Americans to buy their drugs from a select group of Canadian pharmacies that buy all their products directly from the U.S. or manufacture their drugs in the facilities of Canada’s major drug companies.

This isn’t likely to happen, however, because we have an administration in Washington that is for the corporations and by the corporations, and an FDA whose sole purpose is to protect the windfall profits of the drug manufacturers while allowing drug companies to make and sell hugely overpriced, noxious drugs that kill us, like Vioxx and others they’ve allowed onto the market that produce harmful and sometimes lethal side effects.

If the FDA sponsored a system of legal and regulated prescription drug buying from Canada, this would force American pharmaceutical companies to drop their prices by 80% to compete, resulting in a better situation for the consumer. The drug companies would still make profits, because the demand for the drugs would go up tremendously if they suddenly became affordable for people without health insurance, but the profits wouldn’t quite be the same.

For the time being, Americans will continue to have to choose between buying food for their family or buying health insurance they can’t afford that hardly covers the costs of the drugs they can’t buy.

The 10 Most Common Swine Flu (H1N1) Myths…You Better Know What They Are

Category: TamifluPrescription Search @ 3:10 am

The Swine (H1N1) Flu, just like any other virus infection, it too has its own myths.  Here are the 10 most common ones.  Don’t we already have enough to worry about without imagining things?  Why worry about things that are not even true.  Here are 10 of them.

Myth #1:  If I wear a surgical mask, I will be protected from getting the H1N1 swine flu virus

Fact:  While it is possible that wearing a surgical mask may be slightly helpful in preventing the “spread” of the swine H1N1 flu, it definitely will not guarantee you safe passage.  However, if you are wearing the mask around others who are infected with the virus, it will help protect you from the germs of their sneezes and coughs.  Otherwise, it can’t hurt to wear a surgical mask but just do not let yourself be lulled into a false sense of complete protection against the swine Flu virus.

Myth #2:  You cannot die from the swine flu virus

Fact:  Nothing is further from the truth.  You can die from the swine flu virus.  People across the world are dying from it everyday.  However, so as not to overly alarm you, it must also be pointed out that most people will “not” die from it.  The truth of the matter is that the H1N1 virus can prove fatal in people who have already have a compromised immune system.  Some people get very sick from this virus while other only report mild symptoms.  Please remember that it is vitally important that you take the anti-viral medication that will help reduce the intensity of your swine flu symptoms.  Is is also extremely important to remember that you should avoid contact with other people for at least 24 hours after your fever subsides.  You do not want to give it to anyone else.

Myth #3:  Infection from the swine flu only happens if you have direct contact with a pig.

Fact:  While it has been reported by the CDC that in the past, swine flu has been spread between people and pigs, this most likely occurred with pig farmers who were in constant close contact with their pigs.  It is much more likely that the current swine flu is spread from human to human because of the liquid droplets and vapors that are expelled into the air from a contaminated person when they sneeze or cough.  If you were to come into contact with these droplets, or anything that had these droplets on it, you have a good chance of becoming infected with the virus yourself.

Myth #4:  We have never had an outbreak of the swine flu within the United States

Fact:  This is not true.  Throughout the years there has been several swine flu outbreaks in the United States.  In 1967, five soldiers from Fort Dix, New Jersey were contact in an outbreak of the swine flu.  All five of them became infected and one of them died.  However, according to the experts, some of the conditions that worsened this swine flu outbreak was brought on by the fact that they were living in a very stressed conditions and very close military quarters.  Also, in Wisconsin in 1988, there was a mild outbreak of the swine flu in heath care workers who worked in close proximity with their patients.

Myth #5:  The elderly, young adults and the children are all equally at risk.

Fact:  Apparently, it has come to light that ones immune system strength may not be a significant factor with the H1N1 virus.  But, the jury is still out on this and is not certain. It is believed that, just like the avian flu and the SARS outbreaks, it is more a factor of how your own body reacts to the virus rather than the virus itself.  But, it should also be kept in mind that the majority of cases investigated so far in the U.S. have proven to be rather mild.  It really is uncertain how the young and healthy people in Mexico were dying.  It has been suggested that perhaps the virus had already mutated into a stronger variation.  It is also important to know that the antiviral medication TAMIFLU is proving to be a highly effective treatment for the swine flu, provided you see you doctor  as soon as possible after getting sick.

Myth #6:  Eating pork will increase your chances of getting swine flu.

Fact:  The swine flu was named so because of a flu that pigs were getting in the Northern hemisphere. But, there is no correlation between swine flu and eating pork or pork products.  However, you must remember that eating any not properly prepared or partially cooked meats will certainly increase your risk of bacterial infections and viruses. No, you do not get swine flu (H1N1) from eating pork of any kind.

Myth #7:  The H1N1 virus is much riskier than the 2000-2003 SARS pandemic.

Fact:  This is definitely “not” true.  This pandemic caused 774 deaths before it was stopped.  That’s approximately 10% of those infected with the virus!  The United States had 10 or fewer deaths while the remainder are believed to be in China.

Myth #8:  The seasonal influenza vaccination can help prevent the H1N1 virus infection.

Fact:  The CDC has said that the anti-viral medicines and remedies along with the seasonal influenza vaccination can help decrease the “symptoms” of the H1N1 Swine flu, BUT, it is definitely not a preventive measure or cure.  Only the H1N1 vaccines can do this job efficiently.

Myth #9:   Tamiflu will cure the H1N1 virus.

Fact:  This is definitely a bad myth as Tamiflu will help lessen your symptoms once you get the virus, but, it will not cure the flu.. The Tamilflu antiviral medication has been shown to decrease the length of  your  infection by a few days, but nothing else.

Myth #10:  If I get a fever along with the other flu symptoms, that means I have the H1N1 swine flu and I need to get to the hospital or see a doctor.

Fact:  If you are a normal healthy person it is actually suggested that you  stay home rather than risk infecting others.  However, if you are susceptible to asthma attacks, have a weakened immune system, or lung disease, it is suggested that you do seek medical attention as soon as possible.
