Question by tslal: How long will this prescription of Accutane take to clear up my skin?
My acne isn’t really that bad but nothing else has worked to clear up my skin, so my dermatologist prescribed 40mg of accutane to take twice a day like one in the morning and one at night. How long do you think it will take to clear up my skin? and any tips or anything?

Tomorrow is the second month of accutane and I am still awaiting results. However, I can tell the inflamation has gone down immensely, and the texture of my skin is a lot smoother than a month prior from now.
Most people don’t start seeing results until the second or third month. It’s unfortunate, I know, but worth the wait – TRUST ME. You’re going to love your skin after finishing this treatment.

Question by yezzzir: Am I allergic to these antibiotics or is this normal?
I was havin pain in my lower abdomen for a couple days so I decided to go to the doctor’s on Tues.. Since I was a walk-in, the doc did not even see me but the triage nurse still sent me on my way wit Flagyl “in case I have an infection.” um, ok? I started to take it that day anyway. The next day I decided to go to the e.r. to see what the pain was. While I was there, I started to feel as if I was catchin a cold. After tests, turns out I had a bladder infection so they gave me Bactrim. Got home late so I didn’t get the meds till Thurs. By this time I was feelin more sick like a bad cold. I started takin the Bactrim and now it feels like I have the flu! My body hurts, think I mighta had a fever, a mild rash on my face, and last night I threw up 5 times! I feel a lil better today but I’m scared to even take these last doses!

Call the pharmacy, ask about the med your taking and ask what are the side effects, dont read the printed material and try to figure it out on your own.
Tell the pharmasist, how many pills you took of the first med, and then how many of the new one.
Leave a message on the phone line to the Drs office, that you came in got a kinda diagnosis, had to go to the ER and was put on a totatly dif med and want a refund for the shady vaisit.
You can have a cold, and a stomach ache from anything. The flu doesnt make us throw up.
An empty stomach with alot of strong meds can though. So call the pharmasist they can help you through this.

I am clearing up from herpes and taking “valtrex” for 6 mths. Now my doctor is sending me for blood work..to be sure I don’t have any other STD’s,My partner was sent for blood work, he is being tested for herpes 1&2 and clydmidna. Because I have herpes does that mean I have other STD’s? does this mean I have HIV virus, Hep B & C Virus, clydmidna.

I don;t know why or how my computer is sending out emails for things that i never look at i.e. viagra, internet dating to all of my contacts. How can I stop this from happening?

Per Yahoo this is being caused by a virus. It spreads out through your email account and it sends spam emails to the contacts that are in your address book and to yourself if your address is in your contact list without your knowledge.
There are many viruses in existence today (often called “worms”), that propagate when an email attachment containing the virus is sent to an email address found in an infected user’s computer (e.g., address book, local files, etc.).
To stop the sending out of spam please change your Yahoo! password.
The users that have encountered this before stopped the sending out of spam after changing their Yahoo! password. i might also recommend changing your security question/answer also.

Question by Diane: A Cialis ad was sent out to all my contacts when I was away. How does this happen and what do you do to stop?
When I was away an email was sent with my email address to all those in my contact list. It was a Cialis/Viagra ad that even went to my company President. How could this have happend and what can I do to prevent further hacking into? Thanks.

Most likely, your address was picked up by the new powerful spam bot networks. Remember all those mailers who put all addresses in the To: or CC: boxes rather than BCC;?
Or those who fail to clean up all extra addresses when Forwarding? They are to blame for your address being vulnerable.

this morning when i woke up i had to go pee and when i was about done it started burning i sit up straight and held my lower stomach and then about 4 or 5 i had to go pee again same thing happened only this time i noticed when i wipe i had some spotting it wasn’t my period it was just a little when i wiped and i have a little bit of a smell not bad yet.
also me and my fiance we’re trying to conceive and i didn’t know this would happen to me and i don’t know if i fell pregnant already and it’s to early to tell either way and i have a doctors appointment like monday so what kind of infection is this and if they’d give me “diflucan” and i am pregnant would it kill my baby well answers are appreciated thanks

Well there is a great site called webmd that has a symptom checker. I looked up your symptoms and there are many infections possible, like too many to list. Just go to webmd.com and look for the symptom checker and go from there. I’ve used it and it is very reliable.

I’m not 100% sure of what it could be, but it could be a UTI.
If you’re going to the doctors just tell them that you could be pregnant – they won’t give you anything that could potentially harm or kill your baby. If you fail to tell them that you could be pregnant you could be putting your baby at risk.
Best thing to do is wait it out till Monday, try not to stress, and then give all the details to your doctor.
