staph in knee and when the healing time?
i have staph infection in my knee and it hurts sooooo bad..the bones are tender underneath, i am limping all around the house and it’s hot to the touch and stings…i got it 4 days ago and went to doctors and they prescribed bactrim…how effective is this medicine? and when will my knee be beack to normal?

What alternative medicine, no side effects, will help me stop urinating all the time and straining my bladder?
I am 25/m and have had this problem for close to six months now and I have been going to see the doctor and urologist since then. They just gave me antibiotic after antibiotic but nothing helped and said they couldn’t find anything. They did urine tests, semen analysis, cythiscope, and gave me medicines. They gave me leviquin, cipro, bactrum, detrol, ditropan, and many many more but nothing helped. Now I have to strain on my bladder just to urinate, have to urinate about 20-30 times a day and get up at night. No blood in urine but burning sensation. I drink only water and stay away from caffeine but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. My urologist said that I might have intestinal cystitis but he didn’t know for sure so he got me on Elmiron. I’m not taking this medicine because of it’s known side effects and he doesn’t even know what I have. Urologist said it sounds like prostatitis but now it’s something else. He said it’s not a bacteria because antibiotics would have killed it.

I am having a hard time erecting and I have a date later tonight. How do I force erection w/o Viagra?
I don’t have any Viagra with me and I’m having a hard time erecting. I tried using porn but it is no use. I slept with a few other girls today and I think I just exhausted myself down there. Do I take omeprazole for the same length of time as lansoprazole if I am switching medications?
I was directed by a doctor to take 30 mg of lansoprazole (Prevacid) daily for 12 weeks. But after 2 weeks I’m switching over to the cheaper priced omeprazole (Prilosec) (20 mg daily). Should I take the Prilosec for the remaining ten weeks that I was supposed to take the Prevacid?

What is the maximum time you can wait after taking prevacid before you can have your meal.?
This is for my 6 month old baby. My 6 month old has acid reflux. The doc asked us to give our baby Prevaicd before a meal. He asked us to wait 20-30 mins after taking prevacid. We forgot to ask though what the maxm wait time shd be after taking prevacid befre we can give him his meal. any idea ? My hubby says we can wait an hour to an hour and a half. But I think we shdnt wait more than 40 mins .. prefably give him his meal after 30 mins. I feel waiting more than a hour defeats the concept of giving him prevacid before a meal since he eats every 2-3 hours anyways. Please advice.

I’ve had discomfort in my lower left pelvis for some time now. What could this be?
I’ve had pain in my lower left pelvis for almost a year now. About 18 months ago I thought I had an ovarian cyst and was treating it with a combination of herbal supplements taken as a tea. It was a large, lemon sized lump in the area of my left ovary. After several months of my tea concoction it flattened but I felt an oozing sensation in my lower left pelvis for the next couple of weeks. I think that the cyst may have burst and left a draining infection behind. (???)
A few months ago I saw a gynecologist for PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) and a feeling like there is a marble inside of me. I don’t know any other way to explain it. He did a pelvic exam, blood tests, and cultures. I did have a strep infection in my pelvis area and he prescribed Amoxil.
This seemed to work for a couple of months but with my last cycle all of the former symptoms have returned. I went back in for another exam and more tests only to find out that he only tested me for STD’s which all came back negative. He did not test for the strep infection again, or according to his nurse, anything else.
Now he’s out of town and I’m stuck in limbo. This has been progressing for the past 3 weeks again:
-lower abdominal bloating (PID)
-the feeling of a marble or hard place in my lower left side near where I think the fallopian tubes may be
- an oozy, slightly burning sensation in what I think might be the left of my uterus and cervix.
He did do blood work the first time for cancer – negative. Any ideas? Is it possible that an ultrasound would offer more conclusive info? What tests should I request. Really, just any thought would be comforting at this point.
