Is Valtrex just for genital herpes?
Can someone with really bad oral herpes (simplex one) take it and stop getting painful cold sores/fever blisters?

herpes question: has anyone had outbreaks twice a month even when taking valtrex?
i had my first outbreak in the middle of march and got a 10 day supply of valtrex. since then i have had 2 more outbreaks that my doctor has treated with 3 days of valtrex. i am tired of all of these outbreaks. is my life doomed to be like this forever?

herpes. took 5 days of Valtrex 1 mg pills, but can’t seem to shake it. what to do?
up to 6 mos ago, had once a year outbreak. didn’t know what i had. NOW…under a lot of stress – monthly outbreaks over the past 6 mos. this one is the absolute worse, and painful. it seemed to be going away after the 5 day stint. now it’s coming back. how uncomfortable. i’m scared to touch, for fear i might spread to eyes, or other. prefer to go with a natural/holistic approach, if possible.

Valtrex (for herpes) and Pregnancy?
I have herpes (thanks to an unfaithful ex-bf, so please no judgments) and I have a prescription for Valtrex. I am 9 weeks pregnant and I have an outbreak and my doctor said that Valtrex is safe during pregnancy. I was just curious if anyone else has taken it during early pregnancy and what they may have experienced from it. Any thoughts on it?
